NO RESPECT OF THE WEIGHTING STOP : Application of the Article 8 (Practice Sessions)
The race from the GREEN LIGHT to the CHEQUERED FLAG, will last 24 hours. The chequered flag will be shown to the leading car at the end of the 24th hour.
The pit exit will be opened at 15.20 and closed at 15.35.Any cars still in the pits at this time will leave after all of the cars will have passed the pit exit, on their first racing lap.
If you cover more than one reconnaissance lap, you must use the fast pit lane at A GREATLY REDUCED SPEED.
Your position on the starting grid will be indicated by a board bearing your number.
5' BOARD (15.45): Until this board is shown, you may refuel on the grid.
Once the 5, board has been shown, any car which has not taken its position on the grid will start from the pits.
3' BOARD (15.47): Only the drivers, officials and team members are allowed to remain on the grid.
1' BOARD (15.49): Engines running, all team members must leave the grid and the signaling area.They may return to this area once all of the cars have passed, immediately after the start of the race.
30(IS(B BOARD (15.49'30(IS(B) : & GREEN FLAG : Start of the ormation lap behind the pace-car. OVERTAKING IS FORBIDDEN.
If you are unable to start, open your door, lift your arm, and the marshals will push your car to start it.YOU ARE FORBIDDEN TO RETURN TO YOUR POSITION.
Any car which is unable to maintain its position in front of the safety-car during the formation lap must return to the pits at a reduced speed, without overtaking and take the start from the pits after the GREEN LIGHT.
During the race, YOU LEAVE THE PITS UNDER YOUR OWN RESPONSIBILITY.
The use of the reverse gear in the pits is forbidden.
As soon as you arrive at your pit, you must switch off your engine.DO NOT FORGET TO SWITCH ON YOUR REAR RED LIGHT IN THE EVENT OF RAIN OR FOG.
There will be two SAFETY-CARS : 1 at post 44 (middle of the straight, after the first chicane) and 1 at post115 (Porsche bend).
WHILE THE PACE CAR IS BEING USED, THE RED LIGHT AT THE PIT EXIT WILL BE SWITCHED ON AS SOON AS THE SAFETY - CAR EXITS THE (IG(BFORD BEND(IH(B THAN THE GREEN LIGHT SWITCHED ON AS SOON AS THE QUEUE HAS PASSED THE PIT EXIT LIGHT.
As soon as you catch up the SAFETY-CAR, you must remain behind it.These cars will have THREE YELLOW FLASHING LIGHTS ON THE ROOF.
During the day : At the end of the intervention, they will carry out a complete lap with the flashing laps switched off. You are not allowed to OVERTAKE until the GREEN FLAG is shown.
During the night :At the end of the intervention, the yellow flashing lights will be switched off. You will see green light switched on at the post 44 and 115 his, you may then overtake: THE RACE IS ON AGAIN.
You may come across intervention cars. These will be identified by A YELLOW TRIANGLE WITH THREE YELLOW WARNING LIGHTS WHICH WILL BE PLACED AT THE REAR OF THE CAR AND BY BLUE LIGHTS ON THE ROOF.
If the RED FLAG is shown, you must return to the starting grid at a reduced speed and follow the instructions of the OFFICIALS.
If you must respect a STOP and GO, you cannot stop at the pit in the same lap.
No one is permitted to touch the car when you leave the pit for rejoining the race (Art.16.3).
After the chequered flag has been shown, SLOW DOWN and GO DIRECTLY TO THE PARC FERME.
Do not waste time, go straight to the PODIUM and, as soon as the ceremony is over, go to the Press Conference.
If a car retires from the race, inform the Race Control as soon as possible.
Team managers are reminded that they must sign the form filled in by the pit marshal.
REMEMBER: THE YELLOW FLAG MEANS (IG(BSLOW DOWN, NO OVERTAKING(IH(B, as it could have very serious implications.
Team Managers, when signing the attendance shit, DO NOT FORGET TO SPECIFY THE NAME OF THE DRIVER WHO IS TO TAKE THE START.
